We were pleased to have a busy and productive
season last year. The Kenai River managed to produce some really nice
Kings for some of our guests like this beauty taken by Randy Smith
with the help of Veteran All Alaska Outdoors Guide, Floyd Ring.
Sockeye, Silver and Rainbow fishing on the Kenai
were solid. The All Alaska Outdoors River Guide Crew, led by Monte
Roberts, kept the lines tight by working hard and being flexible as
conditions changed, as they always do.

Halibut and Saltwater efforts were rewarded with
hefty fish boxes full of prime fillets vacuum-sealed for the trip
south.

Fly In fishing this year was as good as it has
ever been. Our Early June fishing was excellent for Giant Pike and
Grayling.

Late June and Early July gave us the opportunity
to enhance fish boxes with beautiful, ocean fresh sockeye fillets, as
time after time, we captured 6 fish limits for each guest with our
Salt Water snagging efforts.

Late July and Early August Ultimate Expeditions
targeting Grayling, Lake trout, Char and some Rainbows in Lake Clark
National Park were fun and action packed with great fishing and
amazing flight seeing and wildlife viewing.

Late August and September found us struggling to
get to the Bay of Pigs due to weather and competing ptarmigan hunts,
but when we finally got there the Big Silvers were there again and the
Bite was good. If you are looking to photograph Black Bears up close,
this is the trip.

Ultimate Expedition Ptarmigan hunts were off the
charts this year. I have been chasing ptarmigan for nearly 20 years
and the bird numbers I saw this year were the highest ever. Edgar
Johnson managed 20 bird limits 3 trips in a row again this year.

Guides Angus Warren, Monte Roberts and myself
managed one scouting trip at the bitter end of the season and we found
2 great new spots loaded with birds. We are anticipating a
phenomenal 2012 season with a little cooperation form the weather and
another good hatch.

Don’t forget to check us out on this year’s
episode of North to Alaska with Larry Csonka airing on Versus on May
20th at 10:30 EST.
Our Wheeled Plane Fly Ins and Crescent Lake Fly
Ins in Late August and September were great for Brown Bear viewing and
Silver fishing.

We had a little hardship with our internet
service this summer, and apologize again for the inconvenience that it
may have caused some of our guests for a 2 week period. We have
really trouble shot things this Fall, and now have two separate sights
bringing service to our grounds, so we are quite confident we won’t
have a service outage again. We also upgraded our download speed from
512 to 3 meg so you should be able to conduct your on line business
smoothly from our resort.
Hoping to see you again or for the first time in
2012,
Sincerely,
Bob Ledda
